How to get a Costa Rican Travel Visa

No Visa Required
Applicant does not require a visa for traveling to Costa Rica. They should visit the consulate's website to obtain more information on visa requirements.
A valid passport is required for travel
- Your passport must be in good condition.
- It cannot be expiring 6 months beyond your intended stay in the country.
- You are required to have at least two blank visa pages left in your passport (The last two pages in your passport are not visa pages, and do not count).
Traveling to Costa Rica (Important Information)
U.S. citizens may enter Costa Rica as a tourist or for business without a visa and may stay up to 90 days in Costa Rica. Authorities may permit stays up to 90 days without a visa but are not required to do so. Be sure to leave before the 90 days are up; otherwise, you may face departure delays, deportation, fines, and/or be denied entry to Costa Rica in the future.
